The Todra Gorge

These pictures were taken en route to the gorge and of the gorge itself. Please note the side of the road is nothing but gravel with no guard rail and quite the drop off. The walls of the gorge are 300 meters high!

Camels

I will never again say that I live in the middle of nowhere. THIS is the middle of nowhere. En route to Touda's farm, we passed this herd with their herder. There were at least a dozen, but this is as close as I dared get. What a sight!

Caleche in Marrekesh

Mostafa and Salah are on the left. Hind and I are on the right. (Can you pick me out? No, I hardly stuck out wherever we went!) I miss my Moroccan family very much.

Dress up

This is Hind and I dressed Berber style. The headress is covered with metal beads and bangles and worn over a yellow scarf.
